This page is dedicated to showing public or private photographic works, which are generally not well known. Nevertheless, it is evident that these are works of art, which are not only of historical interest, but are also of interest as images of authentic, creative expression by the artists.
This website provides an opportunity to build a bridge between the photographer we are promoting today and the heritage of lasting value that we contribute through our digital work.
We present here negative to positive photographs, most of which are from glass-plates dating from the beginning of 20th century, now in the collection of The Museum of the Burgundy Lifestyle--Perrin de Puycousin in Dijon, France. This is a selection of several hundred glass-plates digitized by François Perrodin and François Boivin in 2002-2003 by order of the museum and with grants from the Burgundy Administrative Region.
